Nature’s Greatest Bandit

Set in the Cypress Hills of Saskatchewan, this film takes a tongue in cheek look at how the American Red Squirrel heists its way to a winter food stash.

This short film aired on CBC’s Canadian Reflections from 2016 to 2019. Production of the film used camera blinds alongside remote tethered DSLR cameras to achieve an intimate look inside the squirrels food gathering process.
