Heritage Minutes: D-Day

Remembering those who lost their lives during the D-Day landings on June Beach, June 6, 1944. This Heritage Minute follows the story of Major Archie MacNaughton, a veteran of the First World War and leader of the North Shore New Brunswick Regiment’s A Company.

Filmed in Calgary, Alberta over two days, our team re-created a beach landing scene, French countryside scene and rural New Brunswick farm all without leaving Calgary.
